The goal of the Legislative Hunger Caucus is to ensure government and community partners work effectively to address hunger and the underlying causes contributing to it. In fact, there is no district or county in our Commonwealth where the blight of hunger does not exist.

The Capitol Hunger Garden is a living reminder of the Caucus’s commitment to decrease the high human and economic toll of hunger in the Commonwealth. Relying solely on volunteers to grow fresh vegetables that ultimately will be donated to local food banks, the first crop from the garden has a special yield... Capitol Hunger Garden Salsa

1,400 jars of salsa have been produced from the first crop of the Capitol Hunger Garden and this is your chance to own one. You’ll receive a jar of salsa with a minimum donation of $25 to your local food bank and you can make your donation on-line.
